Greetings! So, one of the things I wanted to start doing, in lieu of the feature-length commentaries we have done in the past on Sonic Cinema, is to start podcasting, which has plenty of advantages over the commentary format (no need to sync with a movie; shorter; more focused). In this vein, I welcome you to the debut episode of the Sonic Cinema Podcast, by yours truly. This is going to be a short episode, and really more an introduction to me personally and how I got to the place I’m at now, but wrapped within the context of a discussion of the Frank Capra holiday classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life.” For those who haven’t seen it, be careful of **spoilers** in my discussion of the film.

I hope you enjoy it, and believe me, any feedback would be appreciated. I hope to make this a weekly thing, although with the holidays going on, that might be difficult at times, but I’ve got some good ideas for future episodes.
