Hello readers and listeners! Happy New Year, and thank you for your patience as I get going with the Sonic Cinema Podcast in 2016. It was a hectic end of the year, and I’ve had a lot of stuff on my plate personally, as well as a lot of movies to catch up on. This brings us to Episode 3 of the Sonic Cinema Podcast, where I discuss the recent Oscar Nominations, and my take on some of the people/films that were snubbed. (I will still be doing my pre-awards written rundown of “final predictions,” though.) Like the “Star Wars” episode, it was stream-of-consciousness rather than prepared, so I forgot/missed some things, but I think I had some interesting things to say. I hope you enjoy, and I know I owe you all Part II of the Episode II on “Star Wars” that Ron and I did- the editing is quite a bear on that one, but it is coming, I promise.
