Terry Kendall and Orange Green (Short)
The narrator tells us about Terry Kendall (Brit-Charde Sellers). She’s sassy, and a good worker, and always makes a point of being to work on time at the local grocery store. She does her work well, and leaves feeling good about herself, although she is glad to be off work. Every day, she does the same thing, and on the weekend, she uses the time to relax. One day, a stranger (Timothy J. Cox) comes up to her in the park, although we’ve already seen him watching her from outside the store. He visits her at the store the next week, and asks her about where he might find chicken breasts. Each of the next three days, he asks the same question, making her more and more exasperated. She can’t work the rest of the week because she’s afraid of him. She goes over to a friend’s place for comfort, but when she leaves, she gets an unexpected surprise on the way home. Writer-director Meg Skaff sets an entertaining tone for this film with the narration about Terry, and keeps it going pretty well throughout the film, with solid work by Sellers and Cox in the main roles to make for a good film to watch in a short period of time.
