Jerry (Frankie Capoblanco) has to leave in a hurry. He has somewhere to be. As he’s running to his car, his girlfriend (Courtney, played by writer-director Audrey Noone) asks him to pick up his girlfriend’s friend Nate (Topher Hannson). He makes the stop, and starts making conversation with Nate, who is gay. What he says is the definition of awkward “I don’t really understand gay people” discussion. (“If you had a cardboard cutout of [insert name here]’s head on your naked body, would you be turned on?”) Nate tries to be a good sport, but decides to take matters in his own hand to show Jerry what being gay is really like. Meanwhile, Jerry is looking forward to something special from Courtney tonight. Noone has come up with a very clever, deliciously entertaining comedic short that plays out in surprising, hilarious ways. To a certain extent, you might be able to figure out where it eventually lands, but how it gets there is a big part of the fun. It’s a ride neither you, nor Jerry, will soon forget.
